Memories-aren't they great! Some of your fond memories may be your first ride on a bike without training wheels! Or, your best family vacation. The spontaneous water fight you had with your siblings in your dining room. Opening gifts on Christmas morning. The smell from the kitchen as your mom bakes cookies.
These are just some to stir your memory. I'm sure you could think of many more to add to that list!
The other day I opened a box of cards that I had received from people on birthdays and other such special occasions. I also ran across many pictures from my childhood. As I looked around at the pictures on my bed I was overwhelmed with memories of the "old" days. Some brought smiles to my lips and laughter to my eyes-others brought sadness. I sadly wondered where some of my friends were up to these days-how they were and what they were doing. Will I ever see them again? Oh, how time flies by.
This summer one of my goals is to make a memory box or scrapbook of “organized” memories. To keep and remember throughout my life.
If you have any memories I would encourage you to make a box or scrapbook to put them in. Memories are what life is made of.
Do you have any memories that you would like to share? If so leave a comment and tell to me-I would love to hear them. :-)

One thing that I love to look back at are my old prayer journals. I can see what my struggles were then (and how they are almost the same now) I can see where the Lord has grown me, what people were really on my heart then....I would encourage gals to do that too!

Aloha Nessie,
It was a blessing to have you visit my blog today. It's so wonderful to look back at days gone by, I loved going to the ranch and climbibg the hills while clouds and mist covered the top of the hill, it was like being being so close to heaven *smile*. I really need to do a scrapbook lol.. thanks for the reminder.
you can use My Life..., God is my Strong Tower, and Laura's Area the most.. :-D
I can remember oh, so clearly the day that I looked up into the eyes of the most handsome, Godly man and said "I do." Now some 46 years later, I still love him with my whole heart but I love to look back and remember. Thank you, Nessie for letting me share one of my memories. Mrs. connie from texas
Some of my favorite memories ... adopting you, fun times with our family, my baptism, my wedding day and honeymoon, the first time I saw Lena, the day I found out I was pregnant with this baby ...
I could go on and on!

I have so many memories I don't know where to begin! First of all, Christmas memories have always seemed the most precious to me. Especially when I was little. I also loved it when my dad would pick me up and put me on his shoulders when we were walking somewhere. Couldn't do that now, haha! Oh, and I absolutely loved playing in my doll house, whether I was by myself or with friends. And yes, my baptism was also a very special memory.
Great post Neesie!

P.S. And you know that I LOVE that song on your blog. :)
Hi, Neesie!
What a nice post. I'm probably about your Mom's age, so I have lots of memories, some happy and some quite painful. But one of my favorites is walking hand in hand with my Dad when I was a very little girl. The two of us just loved to walk. I can still recall the feel of his big, strong, calloused hand covering my little fat one. May God bless you, dear one!
