Hello!

Hello everyone!
I hope that you all are having a pleasant week so far! Today is Valentine's Day.
When we think of Valentines Day we automatically think of hearts...little cupids...diamond rings...romantic, candle-lit dinners with the one you love. Ok, snap out of the dream-world now! For some of us who aren't married, or have a significant other, Valentines Day could seem like a dreaded holiday. But, I don't desire to let such a holiday go down the drain with such gloomy thoughts! It is a day to celebrate romance...but it is a day to celebrate love. And, I don't have to be a girlfriend or wife to enjoy it. I will be celebrating this special day with the two people that love me dearly...and whom I love the most right now in the world. My parents. We will exchange cards...and Lord willing have a relaxing day. I also will send happy wishes to my other beloved family members...namely my sister and her precious family. And, of course we can always look to our Heavenly Father and thank Him for His love.
So, Valentines Day has sooooo much in it to enjoy...so enjoy it. And.......

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Well put Neesie! I was just discussing the over-commercialization of Valentine's Day with a close friend of mine. I was really frustrated that Valentine's Day is targeted towards couples- you can't escape from it! But as you said...this holiday can be fun and joyful for singles as well, and not gloomy. Thanks sweetie!
