VBS 2008

It came and it went, almost in the blink of an eye. That is where I have been spending my time of late. This was my 2nd year assisting and I helped my Pastor's wife in the 4 and 5 year old class. After a very hectic and exasperating week, with many "why me God???" questions running through my head, we made it through. In one piece. Looking back I see that even though stressful, it was all worth it. I pray that one day these children would remember something they learned while wiggling around on the floor during the lesson time. I pray that they would decide to become one of God's own before very long. They may be young, barely out of their toddler years, but they are not too young!

Here are some pictures of my class. :-)

I love this age. Hard but fun and full of laughs for everyone, and so trusting of you just because you look so much "bigger" than they are. I don't think I would like to work with any other age for VBS. :-) All in all this VBS went smoothly and God blessed our time in many ways.

MIA

Sorry that I have been missing for the past week or so. Life has been busy. And, now I am suffering from hand, foot, and mouth disease which I can assure you is not fun. So those are two of my excuses. Now for my third excuse: I don't know what to write about. Writer's block as some may call it. So, when I can think of something to write...and when my hands aren't all blistery, I'll be back. Hopefully that will be soon! Until then, may the Lord's blessings be all yours.

You Are An ESFJ

You love being in groups - whether you're helping people or working on a project.

You are good at listening, laughing, and bringing out the best in people.

In love, you value harmony and mutual understanding.

You will apologize or give someone the benefit of the doubt, if it means getting over a fight sooner.

At work, you are good at building relationships and connecting with people.

You would make a great nurse, social worker, or teacher.

How you see yourself: Organized, dependable, co-operative

When other people don't get you, they see you as: Opinionated, critical, and know-it-all

I would encourage you to take this quiz. In my eyes, it is very truthful. Click on the link.
