Resting

Today is Saturday and I am very happy to say that I was able to rest all day! Not sleep in...boohoo...but I didn't do any school which to me equals resting! Sometimes I wonder when school will ever be done as I see 3 years stretch out before me (even though I know that they will go very fast), and then I see the need for me to really concentrate on how to get to college..and pay for it..which is even more pressure right now. YIKES! Lets not talk about it anymore. Hehehe. :-)I know that I need to just trust God to help me get through, and get where I want to in life..and He will make a way for me to...if it is His will. Comforting isn't it? To know that our God is control of everything in our lives! It is to me. :-)

I hope that all of you are having a wonderful week, and a restful weekend. For all you teenagers out there, I hope that you ordered a copy of the Alex and Brett's new book Do Hard Things on Tuesday for the book bomb. I'm so excited to read it!!!!

Now that is encouraging to see two teenagers and a lot of other teenagers who are standing up for what they believe, and not ashamed of it. If you don't know about Alex and Brett Harris and their Rebelution, I would encourage you to check it out. It is definitely worth it!

May you all have a blessed week...with abundant blessing from God.

HE LIVES!

For three days he was dead....but on the third day he arose. He is waiting for us in heaven, and one day, if we do not join Him first, He will return to bring us to Him!

"Never again will they hunger:
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat upon them,
nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb at the center of the
throne will be their shepherd:
he will lead them to
springs of living water.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
Revelation 7:16-17

Rejoice....for HE IS ALIVE!

Happy Easter my friends.

Fun Post!! (Part 2)

I have been tagged by two people in the last two weeks! Aren't I special?!! Unfortunately with my amazingly cruel school-load I haven't had time to post...and the one time I did make an entire post, my computer decided to delete it before I could post it. Don't those things make you really mad? Anyway, my Mom tagged me, and so did Jade and Autumn from Handmaidens with a Mission.

Here are the rules:
1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

My Facts:

(I love the Phillies...just not the "Phanatic"!)

1. I am terrified of people dressed up in costumes. I can handle clowns, but I cannot handle those costumes with "big heads" and such. I always say that I need to go to Disney because the way I look at it I will either come out dead or alive. If I come out alive, it will be because I have conquered my fears. If I come out dead (and I don't mean to take death lightly), the cause of death will be:
HEART ATTACK!

( This past spring...it isn't
the best picture we have ever taken!)

2. My sister is 12 1/2 years older than I am, and I am 13 1/2 years older than my niece. Pretty cool huh?!
3. I can't stand bugs. I can't kill anything bigger than an ant either. Occasionally I may be able to muster up enough strength to kill a large spider, but that is very rare. Very high on my top 5 requirements for my future husband is this: MUST BE ABLE TO KILL BUGS!

4. I love weddings. Not just going to weddings, but I like to "plan" them. Dresses, tuxes, flowers, food, favors, decorations....I love it all. I already have a wedding to plan too. A few nights ago, my friend whom I have know since I was 6 months old, gave me permission to plan her wedding (which, I might add, I hope doesn't happen for a looonnng time :-). Little does she know what she just got herself into...*evil grin*

5. I love anything medical. I guess that is why I want to go into nursing. Half of the reason anyway.....

6. I LOVE bull riding. For some reason I must have cowgirl blood in me...my family thinks I'm crazy...sometimes I'm not so sure myself! You may think that cowboys riding bulls cannot be classified as a sport, but believe me, it is!

(Lena and I a long time ago...this was one of her first smiles for me!)

7. I love babies...I don't know what I love about them so much. Maybe it is their soft touch, their big eyes, the spit-up? Naaahhh...I don't thinks so! (about the spit-up that is) Whenever I can get my hands on a baby I treasure those moments. Just a few weeks ago I was in the nursery at my church feeding a little 3 month old her bottle, and she was just staring at me with the sweetest look on her face. It made me feel all warm inside...ahhh beautiful times!

I now tag anyone who would like to do this. Go ahead..give it a shot! It is a lot of fun once you get going. :-)
