My Life at This Moment....
I have long neglected this blog. (Facebook steals all, right? ;-) Actually I have no idea what to post about! So, I'll just give you a little update on what is going on in my neck of the woods right now. Well, it is August. I can't believe it! School will be here in a few weeks, and I am very happy about it. This year looks pretty intense but I'm looking forward to the challenge...I think. ;-) I'm trying to be brave and get my permit soon.....then SAT's to start thinking about. Ahhh...the joys of being a teenager, right?!! Can you believe that Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming so quickly? I love summer but I always start to look forward to the cold weather and holiday season coming. I would like to hear what you guys have been up to this summer! The comment box is all yours. :-)

My Answer!

Ella's tag!
15 Things that I am NOT afraid to admit:
1. I am traumatized about people dressed up in costumes. Traumatized. A few weeks ago I was in a store with my niece and we saw Elmo. A walking, waving, big, full-grown, man-sized red Elmo! Who was ducking in and out of stores and jumping at everything for the rest of that shopping trip? If you thought Lena, you were wrong. It was me.
2. I am listening to Christmas music on the radio. Like right now. I actually started last week I think. It isn't my fault that they are already playing it! But since they are....hey, why not break out the Christmas spirit a little bit early?!!
3. I don't like Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana. Enough said.
4. I strongly dislike bratty kids, and parents that yell at their kids really loud in the middle of a store. In public. I always just shake my head and I hope and pray that I (1) won't have bratty kids, and (2) that I would learn how to discipline them in a Godly and respectable manner. Then they wouldn't embarrass me in public and I wouldn't have to yell at them in public embarrassing them even more.
5. I like other cultures. And languages. They enthrall me.
6. I am currently trying to figure out how I am going to think of nine more things.
7. I don't like horror movies. Supernatural, scary, demonic things and me don't mix.
8. I love sports. Baseball, college football, and basketball rate really high!
9.I used to want to become a news anchor or a teacher.
10. I like to stand in the back of the crowd. And observe. My eyes and ears are always really wide open.
11. I like to think. Just sitting and thinking is a favorite activity of mine.
12. I have made it to number 12 yay!!!
13. I don't like candy. But, I like sweets in the form of cakes, cookies, and such.
14. I love my dog to death. The day he leaves this earth will be one of the worst days in my life, so far.
15. I should be writing two papers for school right now.
WOW. I did it. The answers were kind of lame, but I just can't think right now!
I am not going to tag anyone, but if you want to do it, please do!
Thanks for the tag Ella. :-)

Memoir of Me-I have beeen tagged.
Arms forever open, willing to hug.
~I love children...it doesn't matter what they are..or who they are. I love them all. Of course I thank God for giving me a wonderful little niece and hopefully I will have another little niece or nephew to love, due to arrive sometime around October 29! God is good.~
So, that was my memoir. Please don't laugh. Unfortunately that was all my poor little brain could think of.
Here are the rules I got from my mom who tagged me:
1.Write your own six word memoir.
2.Post it on your blog, and include a visual illustration if you like.
3.Link to the person who tagged you in their post.
4.Tag five more blogs with links.
5.Remember to leave a comment on the tagged blogs inviting them to play.
I now tag these friends: Ella-a sweet, sweet girl! Autumn and Jade-two amazing sisters! Laura-a beautiful young lady!
I'm breaking the rules by only tagging three-but at this point I really don't care. :-) My mom stole at least two of the people I would have tagged.
Enjoy everyone!
If I haven't left a comment on your blog in a while I am so sorry. I have 15 more lessons to go before this freshman year is over. Then maybe I'll have more time for such things as the computer. Until then I'll try to stop by..but if not, you will no why. (A poet and I didn't know it!)
God bless you all.

Fun Post!! (Part 2)
Here are the rules:
1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
My Facts:
(I love the Phillies...just not the "Phanatic"!)
1. I am terrified of people dressed up in costumes. I can handle clowns, but I cannot handle those costumes with "big heads" and such. I always say that I need to go to Disney because the way I look at it I will either come out dead or alive. If I come out alive, it will be because I have conquered my fears. If I come out dead (and I don't mean to take death lightly), the cause of death will be: HEART ATTACK!
the best picture we have ever taken!)2. My sister is 12 1/2 years older than I am, and I am 13 1/2 years older than my niece. Pretty cool huh?!

6. I LOVE bull riding. For some reason I must have cowgirl blood in me...my family thinks I'm crazy...sometimes I'm not so sure myself! You may think that cowboys riding bulls cannot be classified as a sport, but believe me, it is!
(Lena and I a long time ago...this was one of her first smiles for me!)
7. I love babies...I don't know what I love about them so much. Maybe it is their soft touch, their big eyes, the spit-up? Naaahhh...I don't thinks so! (about the spit-up that is) Whenever I can get my hands on a baby I treasure those moments. Just a few weeks ago I was in the nursery at my church feeding a little 3 month old her bottle, and she was just staring at me with the sweetest look on her face. It made me feel all warm inside...ahhh beautiful times!
I now tag anyone who would like to do this. Go ahead..give it a shot! It is a lot of fun once you get going. :-)
